The Client
Flow office created a brand new office space for local health and social care company, Fairway Homecare and their sister company, training providers Embark Learning Care Academy.
The Project
Designed and developed in the midst of the coronavirus crisis, Flow Office were able to ‘think outside of the box’ and push the project forward, despite huge uncertainty regarding the economy and what the world would look like towards the end of the year.
Fairway and Embark now have a wonderful modern workspace that not only encapsulates their spirit and personality of innovation, modernisation, optimism and positivity but also enables them to provide even more high-quality care to their local area.
“We’d worked with Flow Office before so knew that they would understand my vision of the space we wanted to create,” said Alex O’Neill, operations director at Fairway Homecare, explaining why they chose the company, “Most importantly, we knew that they could bring that vision to life both quickly and effectively.”
As health and social care providers, Fairway Homecare has been in the centre of the coronavirus pandemic from the very beginning. Demand for their services was continuing to grow, so they decided to grasp the moment and find a comfortable home for both the crisis and the future.
The Challenges
“We knew we’d be facing huge challenges from the get-go,” said Lee Gill, co-director at Flow Office. “Factors such as social distancing, production and manufacturing limitations and tight deadlines meant we were going to be tested to the max.
“But thanks to the incredible energy, positivity of all parties and excellent communication, we were able to push the project forwards. We actually delivered the results a week before the final deadline. And with practically zero downtime for the business.”
The final result is a safe, spacious and comfortable workspace that is perfect for the post-pandemic world. A world away from the usual mundane offices, space inspires communication, innovation, motivation and positivity despite the barrage of doom and gloom we currently face.
It also features a fully-equipped skills lab and state of the art classroom that will help them grow their team of highly trained health and social care professionals so they can meet the needs of the community across the West Midlands.
