Hive360 is a Birmingham-based provider of payroll, HR and employee engagement services for companies from a wide range of sectors. The team at Hive360 offer a number of fully compliant services for payroll, pensions and auto-enrolment, HR and training as well as welfare support and perks and benefits. As a dynamic and forward-thinking operation, they needed an office space that reflected their brand image, giving them the room to grow and express themselves. We are proud to have worked with other Birmingham office design projects, including Wavenet Birmingham.
Hive360 were very keen to create a space that stimulated collaboration, fostered employee engagement and demonstrated to their clients what they are all about – an innovative company that stands out from the crowd. With this in mind, we were asked to design and supply a number of furniture solutions for the company’s 54 Hagley Road, Birmingham base. The solutions needed to reflect the image of a vibrant new company, and we were tasked with supplying a range of facilities for their 43 staff, including a reception area, boardroom, informal meeting zones and a rustic breakout area. The internal fit-out was carried out by Colmore Tang Interiors, with Flow providing the design and furniture solutions.
We were faced with a very short lead time and were instructed to design and manufacture a substantial amount of bespoke furniture tailored to the needs of our client. Flow become the chosen contractor for this work after successfully providing services for this client and meeting tough timescales on a previous project. We were asked to provide a new shell office fit-out with contemporary furniture whilst working around the primary contractor delays despite supply chain constraints. The project was completed from start to finish in under eight weeks, which was quite an accomplishment given the scale of the project.

Since the office has been completed the team have already been using their compelling new environment for breakfast catch-ups and one-to-ones in their new booths.
