The Client
ZwickRoell is a global leader in material testing. They offer a wide range of testing equipment, software, and services for industries such as aerospace, automotive, medical, plastics, and more.
THE PROJECT
ZwickRoell wanted an ergonomic workspace for their new 10,000 sq ft UK headquarters. The German company wanted to keep the theme in line with their brand and values across 2 floors. On the ground floor, we created a client experience centre.
HIGHLIGHTS OF WHAT WE DID
The reception felt very clinical. To soften the area, we added wood panels to the wall and fitted back-to-back seating.
As part of the Client Experience Centre, we manufactured bespoke cabinets. From just a photograph sent by them, we redrew them and produced it all in-house.
We designed the boardroom to have all the power housed in the middle of the table. With a 16-person capacity, this meant no more fighting for the wall sockets!
Flow Office added meeting rooms on both floors so staff don’t have to keep going upstairs and downstairs. With meeting boots, staff can now have conversations and phone calls in quiet areas. With more space to work together, staff don’t have to stress about room availability.
Electric sit-stand desks added to our ergonomic design. Installed throughout the open-plan office, staff adjust the height to suit them.
We designed the MD’s office to have both informal and formal meeting areas. No matter the meeting, staff and clients feel comfortable when discussing important matters.
